Fish. (1) For the purposes of this subchapter, any fish of the order Siluriformes, whether live or dead. (2) The skeletal muscle tissue of fish. As applied to products of fish of the order Siluriformes, this term has a meaning comparable to that of meat in the meat inspection regulations (9 CFR 301.2).
