abandon

Abandon refers to the act of abandonment. A party can “abandon” in multiple fields of law and abandoning generally, though not always, involves voluntarily giving up a right.

administrative forfeiture

Administrative forfeiture is an in rem (against the property) action that allows the property to be forfeited to the United States without filing a case in federal court. The administrative forfeiture process occurs before the agency seizes the assets if no one has filed a claim to contest the

agriculture

Agriculture refers to the acts of farming and raising livestock. Activities that fall within agriculture include soil preparation, seed planting, crop harvesting, gardening, viticulture (growing grapes), apiculture (bee-raising), dairying, poultry, and ranching. Generally, laws grouped under the heading "agricultural law" relate to these activities as they are carried out in a commercial setting.

brownfield

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), brownfields are properties that were previously developed, but where expansion, redevelopment, or reuse may be complicated by the presence (or potential presence) of a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant. An example would be an old abandoned paint factory.

CC&Rs

CC&Rs refer to covenants, conditions, and restrictions that often come with buying houses, apartments, and other real estate in common interest communities.  These communities such as condominiums and co-ops have requirements when created that every property must follow such as noise restrictions and keeping grass cut.
